Abstract

This study comprehensively examines the transformation brought about by cloud computing and digital technologies in the healthcare sector, particularly in the medical secretarial profession. The importance of the integration of digital technologies in healthcare delivery and patient care processes is discussed through changes in the tasks, skill sets and professional roles of medical secretaries. This transformation manifests itself in various areas such as optimization of medical secretaries' workflows, innovations in their training and professional development needs, and improving the overall quality of healthcare services.

The research addresses how cloud computing and digital technologies offer new and effective ways of managing health data, maintaining patient records, preparing medical documentation and coordinating healthcare services. It is shown that these technological advances have led to significant changes in the training and professional development processes of medical secretaries, increasing the importance of new competencies such as digital skills, data security knowledge and technological adaptability. The findings suggest that the future of the medical secretarial profession will evolve in an integrated manner with digital technologies and that this evolution will contribute to more effective, efficient and patient-oriented delivery of healthcare services. In conclusion, the impact of cloud computing and digital technologies on the medical secretarial profession indicates not only a functional transformation of the profession but also a strategic transformation in the delivery of healthcare services. The joint efforts of medical secretaries, educational institutions and healthcare providers are critical to successfully manage this transformation. In the future, the roles of medical secretaries will expand and continue to play a central role in improving the quality of healthcare services.
