Abstract
Goji berry (Lycium Barbarum) is an herb that has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for 2000 years. In recent years, this fruit has started to attract attention with the emergence of positive effects on health in research. Goji berry is the common name given to the fruits of L. barbarum, L. chinense and L. ruthenicum species. Also known as “Gojiberry”, “Goji berries”, “wolfberry” or “superfruit”. Goji berry berries are a natural source of antioxidants and have rich bioactive components. In this way, goji berries; It has many benefits, including antiallergic, anti-aging, anticarcinogen, immune-enhancing, antioxidation, anti-diabetes, anti-viral, hepatoprotective, cardioprotective, neuroprotective, cholesterol-lowering, anti-inflammatory, anti-osteoporosis.
